Psychiatry is rather like 21st century witchcraft.

Most people don’t know that there is no science to psychiatry.

None, zero, zip. There is no X-ray, blood test, CAT scan or urinalysis that can scientifically verify any psychiatric disorder.

Science or no, psychiatrists have voted about 400 mental disorders into existence in a book they can use for billing purposes. These are the official mental illnesses and the book is called the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

There is no physiological basis to these diagnoses—no elevated insulin, as in diabetes or abnormal cells as in cancer—it is a political process. Psychiatric diagnosis is entirely subjective and is sourced from the self-interested opinion of the shrink.
